Network Security Analysts

Minimum/General Experience:

2 years of experience in intrusion detection analysis in 24x7 operations in network security operations environment. Experience with Unix, Windows, and network operating environments. Individual must be willing to work non-standard hours including nights, weekends and holidays on a three month rotating schedule. Individual must obtain and maintain a Top Secret SCI access.

Functional Responsibility:

Monitors and summarizes vulnerability information. Assesses malicious network activities and recommends steps to minimize the impact. Manages the configurations of security devices across a major enterprise.

Required Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems and/or technical certifications.

Network Security Engineers

Minimum/General Experience:

4 years of experience as a Network Security, Systems, or Integration Engineer. Technical experience in software installation, integration, programming and research on a variety of network and information assurance tools, monitoring and control systems. Experience with the integration of automated systems or networks in a multi-platform environment.

Functional Responsibility:

Supports the application of security standards and best practice methodologies to systems, business processes and projects. Assists in the development of IT Security techniques and methodology in improving the security posture of IT systems. Works with a team to perform network and system audits to ensure compliance with security policies and standards. Assists in the development of C&A documentation; drafts periodic project status reports; performs vulnerability scans, and analyzes data to generate reports.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems.

Senior Software Developer

Minimum/General Experience:

10 years of experience in C++ and/or Java Enterprise software development. Candidate must possess expert knowledge in the network security field and be capable of working in a fast-paced, large-team environment. Demonstrated experience with some of the following:

Functional Responsibility:

Design, build, enhance, and maintain the latest intrusion detection/prevention and computer network defense technologies. Develop low-level software for intrusion prevention and computer network defense systems. Enhance existing software by deriving algorithms, adding new capabilities, increasing performance, and improving usability. Create APIs for third-party applications to communicate with existing software. Translate customer requirements into software design documents.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. Requires a SECRET clearance and the ability to obtain a TS clearance.
