Kent Doster

Principal

Kent is responsible for running all the technical operations and growing the business by identifying new capture opportunities, as well as developing relationships with existing and new customers, other large and small businesses and the academic communities. Kent has over 40 years of experience in the intelligence and information security fields. Kent has a BS in Electrical Engineering and is a Certified Information System Security Professional and a Certified Information Security Manager.

Air Force

Kent served in the U.S. Air Force for 20 years, where he served as an Intelligence Analyst and was responsible for the collection and analysis of information to determine threats to DOD and national assets. He also developed system requirements for new data collection and analysis capabilities.

Private Sector

Prior to joining CNF, Kent was Director of SRC’s San Antonio operations, leading a diverse group of engineers, physicists and computer scientists in the research and analysis of data to support world-wide military operations. Previously at SRC, Kent was a Senior Information Assurance Engineer and Program Manager, providing direct information assurance support to national customers including defining requirements for a security operations center and developing policies and programs for numerous new information assurance organizations. Over a course of 12 years, he was the driving force behind much of SRC San Antonio office’s key contract wins.

Before joining SRC in 1999, Kent served as Trident Data System’s Senior Business Development Manager responsible for proposal development and account management. As a program manager there, he managed multiple teams of software developers, security assessment personnel, intelligence analysts and systems integrators for the development of world-wide computer threat and vulnerability assessment, incident response and security training capabilities. He helped Trident grow from a small group to several hundred employees over an 8-year period.
