Associate Systems Analyst/Developer – San Antonio, TX

Minimum/General Experience:

Two years of technical experience in applications software development, one of which is in systems analysis. Competent to work at a high technical level for most phases of applications systems analysis and programming activities. Two years of experience in the development of Internet/intranet applications such as home pages, interfaces with databases, and/or security applications. Job Description:

An Entry Level Hardware Engineer is responsible for working with experienced engineers in a collaborative team environment. Their duties include learning and working on technologies focused on embedded systems and components to include FPGAs, GPUs, and GPPs. The duties also include working with frameworks supporting development and integration of applications for emerging software defined radio hardware.

Qualifications/Experience:

Position Description:

Senior Signal Processing engineers are responsible for developing cutting-edge cyber solutions for US Government clients, focusing primarily in the areas of digital communications and electronic warfare. Duties include but not limited to:

*Apply knowledge of communication principles to develop receiver synchronization, equalization, modulation/demodulation, compression/error correction encoding/decoding algorithms.

*Utilize tools such as Matlab and Simulink to develop and model signal processing elements.

Cyber Incident Analyst – San Antonio, TX

Primary Duties:

*Conduct network security monitoring and intrusion detection analysis using selected IDS/IPS toolset

*Research defensive cyber operations events to determine the necessity for deeper analysis and conduct an initial assessment of type and extent of intruder activities.

*Enter event data into mission support systems according to operational procedures and reports through the operational chain.

*Record suspicious events, meeting established thresholds, into the operational database for suspicious traffic. Records shall contain sufficient information to stimulate future research of suspicious traffic. The record shall answer the: who, what, where, why and when for this suspicious activity.

*Compile suspicious events records and other artifacts as part of its Monthly Operational Report.

*Provide pass-on information to bring incoming crews up to speed on latest suspicious traffic seen from a given port, IP, etc.

*Coordinate with the Crew Commander for authorization before departing after pass-on to incoming shift.

Junior Test/Automation Engineer – San Antonio, TX

Job description:

CNF is hiring a Junior Test/Automation Engineer to work at our CNF facilities at Port of San Antonio, TX to fulfill requirements to integrate operational requirements for cyber applications into viable test plans; develop an evaluation suite; and execute tests in order to generate a functional, developmental, or operational evaluation of the application. This entire procedure is meant to be rapid test development and will occur over 2-3 week periods from each project start, depending on test complexity. This position will also be expected to support development of new capabilities on the customer network in the form of network modifications, service deployments on virtual servers, and issue remediation for customer developers.

Qualifications/Experience:

The Junior Test/Automation Engineer position will require building, deploying, and running evaluation and test environments for products developed at lab spaces run by CNF. Specifically the candidate will:

*Work with government developers to define test requirements

*Consult with developers to develop functional testing

*Provide engineering support to developers for functional pipeline testing

*Coordinate with test manager on test plan development
