PURPOSE OF POSITION:

The Security Officer is responsible for physical and non-tangible aspects of the National Industry Security Program (NISP) pertaining to classified information and associated assets. Cyber Incident Analyst – San Antonio, TX

Primary Duties:

*Conduct network security monitoring and intrusion detection analysis using selected IDS/IPS toolset

*Research defensive cyber operations events to determine the necessity for deeper analysis and conduct an initial assessment of type and extent of intruder activities.

*Enter event data into mission support systems according to operational procedures and reports through the operational chain.

*Record suspicious events, meeting established thresholds, into the operational database for suspicious traffic. Records shall contain sufficient information to stimulate future research of suspicious traffic. The record shall answer the: who, what, where, why and when for this suspicious activity.

*Compile suspicious events records and other artifacts as part of its Monthly Operational Report.

*Provide pass-on information to bring incoming crews up to speed on latest suspicious traffic seen from a given port, IP, etc.

*Coordinate with the Crew Commander for authorization before departing after pass-on to incoming shift.

Junior Test/Automation Engineer – San Antonio, TX

Job description:

CNF is hiring a Junior Test/Automation Engineer to work at our CNF facilities at Port of San Antonio, TX to fulfill requirements to integrate operational requirements for cyber applications into viable test plans; develop an evaluation suite; and execute tests in order to generate a functional, developmental, or operational evaluation of the application. This entire procedure is meant to be rapid test development and will occur over 2-3 week periods from each project start, depending on test complexity. This position will also be expected to support development of new capabilities on the customer network in the form of network modifications, service deployments on virtual servers, and issue remediation for customer developers.

Qualifications/Experience:

The Junior Test/Automation Engineer position will require building, deploying, and running evaluation and test environments for products developed at lab spaces run by CNF. Specifically the candidate will:

*Work with government developers to define test requirements

*Consult with developers to develop functional testing

*Provide engineering support to developers for functional pipeline testing

*Coordinate with test manager on test plan development

*Design test programs for applications developed at the customer lab

MINIMUM/GENERAL EXPERIENCE:

Ten plus years of combined experience in the architecture/design and development of large, complex software systems.  The principal engineer will act as mentor to team members, demonstrating best practice in research, design, development, and security first principles of design, and with a firm understanding of Agile principles and software tools including git, Atlassian suite of tools (Confluence, Jira), and Gitlab CI/CD, docker, Kubernetes and microservices development. Advanced knowledge of Python development techniques, data integration techniques using tools such as Apache Kafka and Spark, and search tools such as Elasticsearch and Logstash. Experience with AWS cloud-based deployments and network design.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY:

Program Controls Analyst – San Antonio, TX

JOB DESCRIPTION:

As Program Controls Analyst, provide financial management, reporting, and tracking for CNF’s Prime Contract(s). Key skills include flexibility and agility, and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment, manage competing priorities and interact with a various level of management. This position requires proactive leadership and significant interaction with the Program Managers, Project Managers, Senior Leadership, and Contracts and Accounting teams to ensure alignment regarding strategy, operating, and financial objectives. This position is a strategic business partner to various functional teams and works in collaboration on the successful execution of spend plans, subcontractor management, and financial reporting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform contract level and task order level financial management duties, provide reporting and contract analysis support, and monitor risk mitigation activities for:

*In collaboration with Accounting, perform subcontractor invoice processing and CNF labor/travel/materials billing to support monthly Prime Contract invoicing for all active Task Orders.

*Complete monthly financial deliverables, including Funds and Man-Hours Expenditure Reports (FMHERs), Contract Funds Status Reports (CFSRs) and updates for Program Management Reports (PMRs) and Monthly Status Reports (MSRs).

*Track and report Task Order Labor Category (LCAT) Level of Effort (LOE) utilization and compliance.
