SAN ANTONIO 12 April 2018 – CNF Technologies is pleased to announce the award of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) Agile Cyber Technology 2 (ACT 2) contract, a multiple-award Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) contract servicing Cybersecurity customers across the United States Department of Defense and Intelligence Community. CNF was selected out of 22 bidders as one of the five awardees sharing the $950 million ceiling. ACT 2 is a focused, flexible rapid contracting vehicle between AFRL, its products centers, and the operational community to support rapid research, development, prototyping, demonstration, evaluation, and transition of cyber capabilities. The contract has a five-year ordering period, with task orders that can last up to five years. “ACT 2 provides a critical path for customers to access the technologies, capabilities, and intellectual capital of CNF and our teammates; we could conceivably be performing on the contract through 2028,” says CEO Roxanne Ramirez. “Pursuing and winning it was a core component of our strategic plan to extend what we do for our Air Force clients across the broader community.”
The contract solidifies CNF Technologies’ 13-year track record of excellence in cybersecurity.
