SAN ANTONIO OCT. 17, 2017—Mr. Jason Garcia visited St. Mary’s University as a guest speaker for the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE). Mr. Garcia provided a presentation titled, “Your Role in the Information Security Apocalypse”, which gave students insight on numerous cybersecurity roles, tools, technologies, and a deep dive into becoming a Malware Reverse Engineer.
Mr. Garcia is a San Antonio native, who graduated from the University of Texas at San Antonio with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science. He has been with CNF for over ten years, and is a Principal and Senior Engineer who leads multiple teams supporting several projects for different customers. Mr. Garcia is an avid participant in giving back to community, who dedicates his time to educating and encouraging students to become the next generation of cyber defenders.
