SAN ANTONIO 29 September 2017 – CNF’s Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Roxanne Ramirez attended the 2017 Youth CareerCON as an industry partner to help educate students on cyber career opportunities in San Antonio. Workforce Solutions Alamo (WSA) sought out CNF Technologies amongst a list of top businesses in San Antonio. The 2017 Youth CareerCON took place at Region 20 during the Careers in Texas Industries Week and provided a venue for over 500 high school seniors to explore various careers in San Antonio. Students were encouraged to explore various careers but to also understand the path towards specific careers regarding continued education, certifications, and resources available. Mrs. Ramirez is a strong advocate for educating youth and specifically encouraging young women to pursue careers in the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) fields. Having been an educator for over 25 years and now the CEO of one of the city’s top cybersecurity providers, Mrs. Ramirez brought forth a unique perspective in facilitating an opportunity for students to explore various cyber careers while understanding the educational path to get there.
