CNF’s CEO Recognized Amongst the City’s Top Executives

SAN ANTONIO 07 August 2017 – CNF’s Chief Executive Officer, Mrs. Roxanne Ramirez has been officially recognized as one of San Antonio’s top executives. The San Antonio Business Journal selected Mrs. Ramirez from a pool of executives across various industries and companies throughout the city. Mrs. Ramirez will be recognized at the McNay Art Museum on September 20th and featured in the San Antonio Business Journal. Top executives were chosen based on their recent accomplishments and impacts on their respective company, industry, and community. Since assuming her role as CEO in January 2016, CNF’s success and growth has gone through the roof. CNF was named as a Top Cybersecurity provider in San Antonio and recognized for its significant growth at the 2017 Fast Track Awards. Mrs. Ramirez appointed the company’s first Chief Technology Officer and has made several key strategic hires to facilitate further growth and excellence. Mrs. Ramirez finds employees to be the heart of any organization; likewise, the key to CNF’s growth and reputation. Professional development and growth is nothing new to Mrs. Ramirez. Carrying over her experience as an educator for over 25 years, Mrs. Ramirez empowers her employees through professional and career development. She invests time and resources to equip her employees with the necessary skills and qualifications to solve the most complex challenges of today’s cyber domain.

One of Mrs. Ramirez’s major goals is to expand women’s role in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields. Mrs. Ramirez dedicates her time and company resources to educating and encouraging women at the high school and university level to explore and pursue the opportunities in cybersecurity/computer science. She has expanded the company’s internship program targeting STEM students form local universities by leveraging the CTOs research lab, located at CNF Corporate offices. From scholarships and internships to summer camps and donations, Mrs. Ramirez personally ensures that CNF is giving back to our San Antonio Community. CNF sponsors an annual scholarship at the University of Texas at San Antonio for aspiring Computer Science majors, offers student internships, and engages with local high schools by providing guest speakers and hosting the CNF Cyber Summer Camp. CNF also participates in the Light the Night Walk to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, jacket drives, and holds food drives for the San Antonio Food Bank.
