Steve Lewis is the Director, Intelligence Community Solutions in San Antonio, TX. He is a senior executive with more than 30 years’ experience in Cyber Operations, Intelligence and National Security, Aerospace and Defense, and Private Equity with an emphasis on the engineering, development, integration, and operations of mission-critical programs, systems, and technologies. These areas include offensive and defensive Cyber operations, Intelligence analysis, and Information Operations. He is recognized for establishing, growing, and managing top performing teams – skilled in developing and leading cyber, intelligence, business development, and capture management teams to consistently exceed goals across constantly evolving business and market environments. He brings strong innovation, transformation, and growth leadership –with proven success in developing and introducing change management and best operational practices that reduce operating expenses, improve employee morale, and increase overall revenue.
Steve is a retired Lieutenant Commander, Naval Cryptologic Officer (1610) with over 22 years of honorable active duty service. He successfully managed all aspects of Digital Network Intelligence (DNI) operations within Tailored Access Operations (TAO) in the extended enterprise. This included staffing, budgeting, development, design and integration of software and hardware systems for over 110 multi-service military, allied military and civilian personnel. Additionally, he served onboard five submarines performing critical sensitive missions in support of the United States Government.
Steve joins CNF from root9B (R9B), LLC as the former Senior Vice President of the Special Programs Division, where he successfully led their Department of Defense/Federal Government program development efforts. Prior to that, he was the Vice President, Cyber Mission Support (CMS) Group Lead for Peerless Technologies, where he led their cyber focused engineering and technical services efforts. Additionally, Steve served as the Vice President, Cyber Intelligence Division (CID) for MacAulay-Brown, Inc. an engineering and technical services company headquartered in Dayton, OH. He managed a $32M+ profit center and provided leadership to over 150 employees.
