Roxanne Ramirez
“You can measure a company’s success by the way they treat their people. Our employees are the heart of who we are and what we do.”
Prior to her board position, Roxanne served as CNF’s CEO for five years, starting January 2016 and ending in December 2021. Under her servant leadership, CNF established a scholarship and internship program with the University of Texas at San Antonio and their National Security Collaboration Center along with Texas A&M University in Kingsville. Roxanne led educational partnerships with neighboring districts enabling students to attend cyber camps, shadow programs, and participate in CyberPatriots. She’s been featured as a guest speaker at universities and multiple panels while also being a member of a curriculum co-design team. A former public-school educator, Roxanne is an avid proponent of inspiring women to not only pursue careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics fields, but to strive for leadership in STEM. Today she sits on the Board of Trustees for Texas A&M University Kingsville Foundation.
In 2017, San Antonio Business Journal recognized her as one of the city’s top CEOs. In 2019, CNF made the list of the city’s Largest San Antonio Women-Owned Business. Most recently, Roxanne was named San Antonio Business Journal’s 2023 Women’s Leadership Honoree along with Latina Style magazine’s 2023 Entrepreneur of the Year. These awards may be indicative of great success to some, but Roxanne’s proudest achievements remain her community projects.
