Jason Garcia, Executive Director for CNF Technologies, has been named a recipient of the National Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) Patriotic Employer Awards.
ESGR designed their awards program to celebrate employers who go above and beyond to support members of the National Guard and Reserve. Since the National Guard and Reserve is composed of patriotic volunteers who may be called upon at any time, sustainability of the organization depends on the backing of employers who provide support, understanding, and job security when their employees answer the call of duty. Award recipients are nominated by an employee serving in the National Guard or Reserve and may also be nominated by their spouse.
“If there one award I’m most proud of, it would be the ESGR’s Patriotic Employer Award,” said Jason. “At CNF, we take pride in serving and securing our nation through the work we do for our customers. Supporting our National Guard and Reserve team members, who contribute so much experience and expertise, goes hand and hand with our company mission and culture.”
According to ESGR’s website, “the Patriot Award reflects the efforts made to support citizen warriors through a wide range of measures including flexible schedules, time off prior to and after deployment, caring for families, and granting leaves of absence if needed.”
“Thank you for this award, but the real honor goes to the brave men and women who sacrifice so much to protect all of our well-being,” said Jason.
Damon Maldonado nominated Jason stating, “I am very grateful for how easy Jason Garcia made my transition from the military to civilian life, especially during the challenges of this past year. On multiple occasions, my unit has called me to go on orders and never once did I have to question the impact it would have on my position with CNF. Jason has shown tremendous leadership and I am eager to continue working with him and the rest of CNF leadership.”
