POSITION DESCRIPTION:
CNF is seeking a motivated, customer-oriented Release Manager to support our growing team. The successful candidates will be responsible for handling the DevOps team to make them deliver the services on time and will manage both IT operations and developers. You will oversee the Release Management lifecycle to include scheduling the release, coordinating between teams, and deployment of release as per the schedule and within budget. You will work closely with the application development team, testing team, and production team and release capabilities upon completion of the testing and deployment stages.
MINIMUM/GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
The selected candidate will have experience/knowledge in the following areas:
*Bachelor’s (or higher) degree in a STEM field with 4-7 yrs of experience (degree may be substituted with 3+yrs in software engineering plus 5+ yrs as a DevOps engineer).
*Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility for immediate consideration.
*Team leadership/mentorship.
*Requirement’s analysis.
*Reliability analysis.
*System hardware/software integration.
*System documentation updates.
*Work closely with system developers, test, and on-site user support personnel to support system updates, analyze and resolve system issues, and ensure project objectives are met.
*Provide technical advice to our customers on architectures and potential solutions.
*Develop and deliver effective customer presentations (support design reviews, status reports, kickoff meetings, test plans) demonstrating an ability to communicate comfortably at a system level.
*DevOps platform (Gitlab, Jira, and Confluence).
*Linux, Windows, mobile operating systems.
*Python or C development.
*Test Automation methodologies
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
*Motivating and guiding Scrum teams exercising Agile best practices.
*Tracking and reporting on Jira tickets against established milestones for each sprint.
*Identifying obstacles and working with project management to overcome impediments or appropriately mitigate issues.
*Interfacing with a variety of team members in a polite, positive, and professional manner.
*Providing guidance to improve Scrum teams by maturing processes.
*Ensuring the team remains focused on daily and sprint goals.
*Driving achievement with respect to quality, flow, and velocity.
*Facilitating the team retrospective and leading the team’s improvement efforts.
*Facilitating team meetings, including, but not limited to, the daily stand-up, sprint planning, team demo, and retrospective.
*Coordinating with project management to identify potential pitfalls and obstacles using Agile methodology.
*Working with project management to ensure sprints encapsulate the priorities of the project.
*Generating charts and diagrams that capture project activity.
REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate will be familiar with the following:
*SAFe Advanced Scrum Master with SASM Certification from Scaled Agile, Inc.
*Certified Scrum Master or Certified Scrum Professional from Scrum Alliance
*Agile Certified Professional from Project Management Institute
