POSITION DESCRIPTION:
CNF Technologies is searching for a Senior Automation Tester to support United States Space Force (USSF). This position is located in Colorado Springs, CO.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY:
As a Senior Automation Tester with MTSI, your development activities at the Cyber Operations Branch program office adhere to Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). SAFe offers proven, integrated principles, practices, and competencies to implement lead, agile, and DevOps at scale. Additionally, this program office personifies DevSecOps which automates integration of security at every phase of the software development lifecycle from initial design, through integration, testing, deployment, and software delivery. These development efforts shall result in two deployable defensive cyber solutions to protect, defend, and respond to USSF mission systems.
Your essential job functions will include but may not be limited to:
• Analyze test results and coordinate with the development teams for bug fixes
• Analyze underlying causes of performance issues and provide corrective action
• Develop automated test scenario(s) and environment for performance testing
• Review and recommend improvements in existing test procedures
• Coordination with testing team to develop performance test plans and cases
• Must be able to use all web methods like GET, PUT, POST, DELETE etc.
• Must be able to validate xml and json body using json parser
• Know how to use the OAuth and OAuth2 authentication mechanisms
• Must be able to Load and Security testing on web services
• Design and develop test automation scripts to create, enhance, debug, and run test cases
• Using test automation guidelines, researching issues in software through testing to validate feedback, response time, & error code.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Programming Languages (at least 2):
• Java, Angular, Gitlab, RHEL, JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr & Python
• Experience or knowledge in the following areas: Agile methodologies, agile project management, software development life cycle management, cross-functional team, agile software testing, test-driven development, software test planning, software test automation
DESIRED SKILLS:
• Familiarity & knowledge:
• SIMP Project, Docker, GIT, Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), Suricata, Zeek, Kibana, Logstash, Elastic Search, Neo4J, PostgreSQL
• Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems Command
• Experience with Cyber Operations Branch (SSC/SZYO) program office
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS (MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS):
• High school diploma
• 4-year degree in related field or equivalent experience (prefer Business, Finance, Marketing, or Communications, but will consider other degrees and experience).
• Excellent skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (create and maintain spreadsheets, write professional policies and memos, and build presentations).
• 1-3 years of experience in a purchasing role in the technology sector (preferred).
CLEARANCE:
Must possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. A Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI and SAP eligibility) is HIGHLY desired.
