CWMS System Administrator – San Antonio


Cleared System Administrator to operate and maintain information processing capabilities supporting the product instances and developmental networks of the Cyber Warfare Mission System Operations and Support team. The candidate will be based in San Antonio, TX.


Candidate must be capable of working in a fast-paced, large-team environment. The successful candidate must have 4 years of related experience with a strong understanding of software architectures. The candidate will possess and maintain required skills to include, but not limited to:

Experience with one or more of the following technologies:

*Active Directory / LDAP (SSSD)
*Windows Domain Controller Group Policy Management / RHEL STIG

*Enterprise cloud and virtual desktop infrastructure (i.e., VMware, Citrix, or Oracle)

*RHEL/CentOS/MS Windows


*Database (Sybase, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL Server)

*Understanding of Agile/DevOps principles

*Understanding CI/CD pipeline theory and practical implementation

*Understanding Agile team makeup and function

*Familiarity of common DevOps tools like Jira, Confluence and Gitlab

*Other Desired Qualifications

*Experience with UCDMO-Compliant Cross Domain Security Solution


*Install, support, and maintain servers by tuning system performance, system wide software configuration and allocation of mass storage space

*Install, support, and maintain a Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) by tuning system performance, system wide software configuration, and allocation of compute resources

*Responsible for the integrity, confidentiality, availability of information systems through patch management to include antivirus installation and signature file updates and data archival/restoral

*Respond and resolve immediate service outages, technical queries and other system related issues as required

*Conduct systems analysis and development to keep systems as current as possible with changing technology

*Utilize Agile processes to develop and sustain software deployment activities

*Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, network servers, and virtualization

*Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes

*Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues

*Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure

*Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and failover procedures

*Lead desktop and helpdesk support efforts in making sure all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment problems are resolved in a timely manner with limited disruptions


*Bachelor’s degree or 6 years of related experience

*DOD Directive 8570 IAT I or II certification (Security+ or equivalent)


Top-Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
