Digital Network Exploit Analyst

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

CNF is seeking a Digital Network Exploitation Analyst supporting national security missions by conducting advanced analysis of network infrastructures to identify vulnerabilities and exploitation opportunities. This role requires hands-on experience with network reconnaissance, vulnerability assessment, and exploitation techniques in support of military or government cryptologic operations. The analyst collaborates with technical and operational teams to assess risks, develop exploitation strategies, and provide actionable recommendations. Candidates should have experience working in classified environments and possess a strong understanding of networking protocols, cyber operations, and SIGINT data. This is a full-time, onsite position supporting mission-critical operations.

MINIMUM / GENERAL EXPERIENCE:

Candidates must have professional 12 or more years’ experience supporting military or government cryptologic missions. This includes experience acquiring, identifying, processing, and reporting on electromagnetic emissions. This role requires experience analyzing SIGINT and cybersecurity data across multiple layers of the OSI model, as well as evaluating target networks using all-source intelligence to support exploitation and operational planning. Experience supporting U.S. Navy or U.S. Cyber Command missions is strongly preferred.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY:

• Conduct active and passive network reconnaissance to identify devices, services, and protocols
• Map network topologies and document architecture, configurations, and critical assets
• Identify and assess network-based vulnerabilities, misconfigurations, and insecure protocols
• Analyze the risk and operational impact of identified vulnerabilities
• Research exploit techniques and support exploitation planning
• Provide recommendations using established exploitation frameworks and tools

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, IT, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience)
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with a current polygraph
