MINIMUM/GENERAL EXPERIENCE:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and highly trustworthy Inventory Control Clerk to manage and track contractor-acquired or government-furnished property on multiple federal contracts. This position is responsible for coordinating with other corporate project teams as well as ensuring strict compliance with federal and cybersecurity asset management protocols.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
• Recording and tracking all inventory/assets in the designated asset management system.
• Tagging and classifying assets upon receipt.
• Conducting regular physical inventories and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintaining accurate and auditable property records, including condition, location, and assignment.
• Supporting compliance with FAR 45, DFARS, and other applicable government property clauses.
• Coordinating asset transfers, returns, and disposals as needed.
• Working closely with procurement, IT, and compliance teams.
• Assisting with government audits or property inspections.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, AND REQUIREMENTS:
Required Technical Skills:
• Familiarity with property management systems (e.g., Sunflower, SnipeIT, spreadsheets)
• Knowledge, experience, and expertise in how to use Microsoft 365 products in a corporate environment (e.g., Word, Excel, Teams and SharePoint)
• Experience using scanners, label printers, and managing RFID systems
• Understanding of computer hardware, networking gear, and cybersecurity equipment (you’ll likely be handling sensitive devices)
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Required Physical Skills:
• Ability to carry and lift 50+ pounds routinely (servers, crates, network hardware, etc.)
• Physically organize shelves, bins, and secure storage areas efficiently
• Stand and move for extended periods in a warehouse or lab environment.
• Fine motor skills for labeling, sorting, and packaging small components.
Required Interpersonal Skills:
• Must be able to work under pressure and prioritize competing assignments with tight deadlines in environments with frequent interruptions.
• Demonstrate a personal commitment and drive to meet or exceed objectives.
• Be self-motivated, organized, and capable of proactively identifying, sourcing, and handling multiple initiatives at one given time to successful completion.
• Be a team player and willing to work in a fast paced, fluid environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Understanding of government property regulations is a plus
• 2+ years of inventory or asset management experience
EDUCATION AND SECURITY REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• Associate’s degree is a plus
• Must be able to pass background checks for work on government contracts
LOCATION AND SCHEDULE:
Location – San Antonio, TX
Schedule – On-site everyday Monday-Friday (this is not a remote position)
