Radio Frequency Analyst

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

CNF is seeking a Radio Frequency (RF) Analyst supporting mission-critical operations by analyzing, identifying, and assessing RF signals, wireless protocols, and electromagnetic spectrum activity. This role requires hands-on experience conducting spectrum analysis, evaluating RF-enabled systems, and identifying vulnerabilities in wireless technologies. The analyst works closely with cyber and operational teams to integrate RF findings into broader cyber operations while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and policies. Candidates should have strong analytical skills, experience working in classified environments, and the ability to produce clear, concise technical documentation. This is a full-time, onsite position supporting government customers.

MINIMUM / GENERAL EXPERIENCE:

Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and possess a minimum of seven years of experience in a technical analysis or engineering role. Required experience includes working with RF signals, techniques, and technologies, as well as analyzing wireless communications. The role requires demonstrated ability to conduct RF analysis and contribute to mission-focused technical assessments.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY:

• Conduct real-time and historical RF spectrum analysis to identify and classify signals
• Analyze wireless protocols (e.g., Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Cellular) and identify vulnerabilities
• Assess RF-enabled devices and systems for security weaknesses
• Support exploitation planning and integration of RF findings into cyber operations
• Produce clear technical reports documenting analysis, findings, and recommendations
• Advise on RF spectrum compliance, regulations, and operational considerations

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (Master’s degree preferred)
• Active TS/SCI security clearance with an in-scope polygraph
