Senior Software Engineer – Colorado Springs


As a Senior Software Engineer you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge cyber solutions for US Government clients, focusing primarily on solutions for Cyber innovation, R&D for Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO), and platforms for cyberspace operations.


Candidate must be capable of working in a fast-paced, large-team environment. The successful candidate must possess 2-plus years of recent system / software engineering experience with a strong understanding of full-stack architectures. The candidate will possess and maintain required skills to include, but not limited to:

*Experience designing, developing, integrating, testing, and deploying solutions

*Experience with Linux based command line and bash script development

*Experience with Python or C/C++

*Experience with Git and CI/CD methodologies

*Experience with Agile development

*Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey technical ideas in a clear, logical, comprehensible fashion


In this role you will:

*Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software solutions supporting Defensive Cyber Operations platforms

*Research, develop, test, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new software products into large systems

*Utilize CI/CD pipeline, working to ensure unit test coverage, and integrated tests across applications and system capabilities
*Address problems of systems integration, compatibility with other applications and software packages

*Resolve problems with software; respond to requests for improvements and enhancement

*Be part of an integrated solution engineering team participating in Agile Scrum processes

*Collaborate with developers and product owners to identify requirements and break down requested objectives and features into appropriate tasks within the Agile framework


*US Citizenship required

*Security clearance is desired, but not required

*B.S. or M.S. in STEM major or 8+ years of relevant experience
