Senior Software Engineer/Developer – San Antonio

POSITION DESCRIPTION

As a Senior Software Engineer/Developer you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge cyber solutions for US Government clients, focusing primarily on solutions for digital signal processing, software defined radio, and cyber applications to enable the convergence of Electronic Warfare and Cyberspace operations

MINIMUM/GENERAL EXPERIENCE:

Candidate must be capable of working in a fast-paced, large-team environment. The successful candidate must have 4-plus years of recent system engineering experience with a strong understanding of software architectures. The candidate will possess and maintain required skills to include, but not limited to

*Experience designing, developing, integrating, testing, and deploying solutions
*Experience with Linux based command line and script development
*Experience with Bash, Python or C/C++
*Experience with Agile development, to include DevOps/DevSecOps infrastructures
*Experience with setup and maintenance of AWS EC2 or similar cloud-based environments
*Experience programing frontend, backend, and databases
*Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey technical ideas in a clear, logical fashion and translate highly technical data into easily comprehensible, actionable requirements is essential.

FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY:

. In this role you will:

*Design, develop, enhance, debug, and implement software solutions supporting Cyber Operations for defensive and offensive platforms
*Troubleshoot production problems related to software, cloud systems and CICD Pipelines
*Research, test, build, and coordinate the conversion and/or integration of new products based on client requirements
*Design and develop new software products or major enhancements to existing software pipeline
*Address problems of systems integration, compatibility, and multiple platforms
*Perform feasibility analyses on potential future projects
*Evaluate and recommend application software packages, application integration and testing tools
*Resolve problems with software and respond to requests for improvements and enhancement
*Provide task leadership and mentoring of junior software engineers
*Work with other hardware and software engineers to develop solutions for our clients
*Be part of an integrated solution engineering team participating in Agile Scrum processes and ceremonies
*Collaborate, on a periodic basis, with direct clients and stakeholder communities

REQUIREMENTS:

*Must contain a security clearance (TS/SCI)
*Must pass the CCD Basic and Senior Exam for the 90 COS
*Basic Exam (Must pass in first month)

Knowledge test (90min, 50 questions):
Performance test (8hr, 2 C programing questions, 2 Python questions, 1Python Networking question)

*Senior Exam (Must pass in 3 months)

-Etc.
