POSITION DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a Test Engineer Level 3 who provides advanced technical leadership and oversight in planning, executing, and evaluating test and evaluation (T&E) activities for complex systems. This position requires extensive experience in system analysis, data collection, and performance evaluation. The engineer will develop comprehensive test strategies, coordinate with system engineers, and ensure test results meet established performance and operational requirements. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills and has experience leading technical teams within a secure, mission-focused environment.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITY:
• Develop and execute detailed evaluation and test plans for system and software performance.
• Conduct analysis of system requirements, acquisition plans, and system descriptions to ensure test coverage and traceability.
• Perform data analysis, develop evaluation reports, and communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Lead and coordinate with engineering and operations teams to ensure test readiness, execution, and reporting.
• Support development of test documentation, including Test & Evaluation Strategies, Master Plans, and Readiness Reports.
• Apply statistical and analytical methods to validate system effectiveness, suitability, and compliance with mission standards.
• Manage and mentor testing teams, ensuring adherence to quality assurance and configuration management processes.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Science, Statistics, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in test and evaluation of complex systems or software; experience leading T&E teams preferred.
• TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph required.
