Paying to FURward – CNF Technologies Donates to City of San Antonio Animal Care Services

CNF’s CEO Roxanne Ramirez and Marketing Specialist Margaret Ramirez recently had a very special appointment with their favorite type of friends – four pawed, furry ones. This year, CNF Technologies decided to give back to the animals at the City of San Antonio Animal Care Services with a donation on behalf of all CNF employees.

Many of CNF’s team members proudly boast about their furry family members which led Roxanne to her latest act of helping the community. Curled up on her couch with her cuddly pet kitten KitKat, the idea came to Roxanne to help San Antonio’s furry friends. With the effects of the global pandemic Covid-19, many community members who usually donate were unable to do so leaving local organizations with less donations than usual.

“On behalf of all CNF employees, many of whom have adopted their animals and are pet lovers, we’d like to gift this donation to Animal Care Services. I know my pets are truly a part of my family and what you guys do for the community, and especially these animals, is wonderful,” stated Roxanne.

The City of San Antonio Animal Care Services has five divisions which benefit from donations. Donors can choose whether to support the live pet adoption, shelter, field, education, or the clinic. CNF donated directly to the clinic and shelter. This full-scale veterinary clinic provides medical support for all animals within Animal Care Services. From medications to ensure the quality of life for each animal, spaying and neutering services, and even microchipping, the on-site veterinary clinic ensures quality care for a lifetime. The shelter division provides care for animals until they can be found a fur-ever home.

“I can remember volunteering here with my daughter years ago. She would choose the tiniest dog to walk while I’d help clean out the cat cages. Since then, the facility has grown, and I’m sure has PAW-sitively effected some many animal lives and families. We are proud to be partners for years to come,” said Roxanne.

Margaret explained, “I adopted our family dog, Andy, from a shelter and tell people all the time it’s the best $25 I’ve ever spent. He’s known as a big brother in our family and his loyalty, patience, and love is unmatched. We are so proud that CNF chose to donate to such a great organization like Animal Care Services.”
