Roxanne Ramirez named Honoree for SABJ 2023 Women’s Leadership Awards

CNF’s Roxanne Ramirez was named an Honoree for the San Antonio Business Journal 2023 Women’s Leadership Awards.

The awards event held on Thursday, August 10th at the Norris Conference Centers celebrated Women of the Year. Twenty-five of San Antonio’s most accomplished business and industry leaders gathered to celebrate women paving the way and decided that this is the Year of the Woman!

In a video preceding their individual award, honorees shared lessons learned throughout their careers in addition to their most valuable advice. “Invest in your people,” said CNF’s Principal and Board Member Roxanne Ramirez. “Investing in your team always yields positive outcomes. Whether it’s helping them increase their skills professionally or getting to know them better personally. I’ve found that establishing genuine, heartfelt connections only makes the individual and team stronger and better equipped to navigate any situation the industry may throw at you.”

In reference to the luncheon, Roxanne stated, “This year, I decided it was important to share the wealth and celebrate the women of CNF. At many corporate luncheons or industry celebratory events, you usually experience a male-dominated audience. I wanted my table to showcase our highly intelligent and very skilled women of CNF. Here you see women in every department from communications to IT and engineering,” said Roxanne Ramirez.

At the closing of the event, Roxanne stated her wishes to the table, “I’m so honored that each of you were able to join me here today. I also hope you’re as inspired as I am! Now you’ve seen it, and now you can be it,” stated Roxanne excitedly.
